My learnings With Vacuum Boy

i recently devloped Vacuum Boy for the GoedWare  GameJam #6

this game made me realise something, how much a game can change, i originaly planned Vacuum boy, to be a getting over it "clone" and in some part it is, but it's not just a clone, it's a parody, originally i was going for a much more serious game, with an intricate story, but for a lack of time i resorted in a simple parody.

the game is a parody not only of getting over it, but a parody of the current situation of the world, expecially the pollution, which affects our world. but, this game is not serious, is made to be a simple game, with simple story, and i kinda lost the original pourpose.

that's not the only problem... the graphics is disconnected, the plan was to have a lot of different style of art, to rappresent the trash, wich is not connected to one another, but at the end it kinda looks like a dumpster, wich is what i wanted but i dont think i achived it in a good way.

Animations, are non existant. the  few that are in the game, fell odd, and robotic.

Overall i made a lot of mistakes. i didn't mention the stuff i like, because i think they are objective,  i wan't to leave that to the ones that play my game.
